🍲 About the Tour
For over 10 years, Cuscun has welcomed more than 8,000 happy guests into real Guatemalan family kitchens. This is a cultural immersion inside a family home in San Antonio Aguas Calientes, Sacatepéquez — a proudly Indigenous environment where ancestral food knowledge is still part of everyday life.
In this hands-on experience, you'll explore the heart of Guatemalan cuisine: heirloom (criollo) corn, nixtamal, and a living pantry of native herbs and quelites. You'll grind and work with nixtamal, make tortillas from scratch, and cook with native plants such as chipilín, macuy, bledo, hoja de güisquil, and loroco.
